Get to know Gill My name is Gill, and I’m the founder of àile holistic. I’m a holistic therapist, intuitive guide, and wellness collaborator, offering supportive treatments, and sensory-led products and experiences to help others feel more connected, calm, and cared for.
Tell us about your 'why': àile was born in lockdown, during a time when we could no longer hold space for our clients in person. My friend and fellow aromatherapist, Abi, and I began creating blends that could offer comfort and support from afar. It was our way of staying connected - to our practice as therapists, to each other, and to the people we cared for. Over time, àile has become a space where my therapeutic work and love of natural, sensory healing has evolved. More than ever I feel the importance of supporting others in feeling more present, grounded, and at home in themselves.
And tell us a little more about your brand: àile holistic creates sensory experiences and therapeutic offerings that guide people back to a place of balance and presence. It began as an intentional aromatherapy range and has grown into an offering that includes bespoke treatments, scent compositions and rituals for both individuals and events. Every product is hand-blended in Scotland using natural, ethically sourced ingredients and guided by a deep respect for the plants we work with. At its heart, àile gently invites people to explore their own version of well-being, intuitively and intentionally.
What has been the most impactful and helpful gift you’ve received from a loved one, and why?
During one of the hardest times in my life - when my dad was very unwell, a dear friend showed up with simple, thoughtful care. She looked after my children, brought nourishing food, vitamins and thoughtful treats, and gifted me essential oils to bring calm and comfort. That kind of steady and thoughtful love and care is something I’ll never forget.

Get to know Gill My name is Gill, and I’m the founder of àile holistic. I’m a holistic therapist, intuitive guide, and wellness collaborator, offering supportive treatments, and sensory-led products and experiences to help others feel more connected, calm, and cared for.
Tell us about your 'why': àile was born in lockdown, during a time when we could no longer hold space for our clients in person. My friend and fellow aromatherapist, Abi, and I began creating blends that could offer comfort and support from afar. It was our way of staying connected - to our practice as therapists, to each other, and to the people we cared for. Over time, àile has become a space where my therapeutic work and love of natural, sensory healing has evolved. More than ever I feel the importance of supporting others in feeling more present, grounded, and at home in themselves.
And tell us a little more about your brand: àile holistic creates sensory experiences and therapeutic offerings that guide people back to a place of balance and presence. It began as an intentional aromatherapy range and has grown into an offering that includes bespoke treatments, scent compositions and rituals for both individuals and events. Every product is hand-blended in Scotland using natural, ethically sourced ingredients and guided by a deep respect for the plants we work with. At its heart, àile gently invites people to explore their own version of well-being, intuitively and intentionally.
What has been the most impactful and helpful gift you’ve received from a loved one, and why?
During one of the hardest times in my life - when my dad was very unwell, a dear friend showed up with simple, thoughtful care. She looked after my children, brought nourishing food, vitamins and thoughtful treats, and gifted me essential oils to bring calm and comfort. That kind of steady and thoughtful love and care is something I’ll never forget.
